Summer Tablescape

Summer is almost here! I love creating tablescapes for any type of occasion! It doesn't have to be complicated. I can create something beautiful with items that are special to you or items you already have in your home.

Last year, I had the opportunity to create a gorgeous tablescape using items from my backyard as well as flowers found in Colorado gardens for Colorado Collective. Mary Andrews helped me plan the table setting with dishes from her grandmother and linens she had in her collection.  She also allowed us to use a gorgeous model home at The Farm from Keller Homes.

These gorgeous pictures are from the talented Becky Kyle with Good Photo

I used apple branches with apples attached, blooming oregano, boxwood, geranium, and lavender from my yard. I also picked up zinnias, allium, artichokes, roses, scabiosa (pin cushion), chocolate queen anne's lace, and japonica from the wholesaler. All of these flowers can be grown in Colorado though. I also placed figs, blackberries, rutabaga and a tropical fruit throughout the tablescape for color contrast and texture. Terrariums were added as well.
