DIY Mimosa Bar | Styling the Seasons

It’s summer time and the mornings are my favorite! Why not celebrate with your friends or family with a DIY Mimosa Bar.

Here are some quick tips for creating the perfect mimosa bar for your next morning celebration!

  1. Create a welcoming area to place all of the items needed for your Mimosa bar. You can decorate with beautiful flowers, greens and fresh fruit. Choose different sized containers and place them throughout the table. This way you can add you carafes, glasses, champagne, and add-ins in between the flowers.

  2. Pick 3 or 4 of your favorite juices or purees to add to your champagne. My favorite are grapefruit, watermelon (in the summer), and pomegranate.

  3. Add fresh fruit pieces or herbs like mint and lavender in bowls for people to add to their drinks.

  4. It’s always fun to make labels for all of the items as well. You can make them with card stock and tent-fold them or get cute chalkboard signs.

  5. If you’re serving food as well, it’s always nice to make the table setting fun and inviting. Think cute napkins with garnish, name cards, or decorative plates.

Hosting guests doesn’t have to be hard. You can make your space warm and inviting by adding a few special items. Flowers always bring life to the party! I’d love to see what you create. Make sure you tag me on instagram @ambermustain_floraldesign.
