Nicole + Matt | Fall Garden of the Gods Resort Wedding

Garden of the Gods Resort Fall Colorado Wedding

Fall is my season and the Garden of the Gods really shows off during this season. Its rust red color, with hints of pink, looks so pretty with many palettes for weddings at the Garden of the Gods Resort. Nicole and her mom also love fall. They wanted to incorporate pumpkins and fruit into the floral design. Using edible elements makes me so happy! We decided to go with more muted colors for the pumpkins-white, peach and green and figs to be added to napkin decor and arrangements.

Nicole loved texture as much as myself so we added tons of it to the bouquets and centerpieces. I used fall foliage like nandina, grevillea, and seeded eucalyptus. We used rosehips, amaranthus, crocosmia and nigella pods for more texture. It was a fall miracle that I found gorgeous burgundy peonies!! This is NOT the norm for October. We also used garden roses from Rose Story Farms in California. The butterfly ranunculus gave movement to the bouquet and lighten things up with it’s dusty pink color. I love how everything turned out for such a gorgeous fall day at The Garden of the Gods Resort.

The reception had beautiful accents of gold to compliment the fall flower centerpieces and the mood was set by taper candles and votives. They created a complimenting light to the golden fall sunset. The round tables had a centerpiece with mixed flowers and textures, pumpkins, and figs. The head table was a tablescape of different sized arrangements, taper candles, pumpkins, figs, and votive candles. It was such a gorgeous fall wedding at the Garden of the Gods Resort.
