Tips for your Holiday Tablescape

When putting together your table setting, I suggest choosing plates and flatware that are classic and can coordinate with many color palettes. These are your staple pieces and you want them to be versatile. I’m a huge fan of eclectic design-things that coordinate, but don’t necessarily match.

A few tips for designing your tablescape:

1.) Choose your color palette. This can be traditional or not, let your style shine through!

2.) Source a few accents that will make a statement and set the mood. Your flowers and greenery, napkins, name plates, or accent plates are some great ways to incorporate interest.

3.) Allow your drink and food choices be part of the beautiful design. Fruits and vegetables are a wonderful way to add texture and bring your color palette to life. Using your prepared dishes in the design adds a welcoming feel to the table.

4.) You can add one statement floral piece or little touches of flowers throughout the design.

5.) Candles add warmth and set the mood.
