Albergue Garcia Farm Community

What is an albergue?

On the Camino de Santiago, an albergue is a place of refuge.

A shelter for weary bodies and souls.

It’s where pilgrims share a warm meal with fellow wanderers, wash the dust from the road, rest for the night, and rise again ready to continue their journey.

It’s more than a place to sleep.
It’s a place to belong.

Who are the Garcias?

Debra and Jesus call themselves “Texas-born Coloradans.”

They love the Lord. They love people. And they love opening their land to both friends and strangers.

For them, the farm has never just been about growing food and animals.

It has always been about growing relationships.

What is the Farm Community?

The Garcias have been building a permaculture farm for many years. It’s a regenerative agricultural system that works with nature, mimicking natural ecosystems to create sustainable, diverse, and self-sufficient food production.

But this isn’t just about farming.

It’s about learning together. Trying new ideas. Getting your hands in the soil.
Living more slowly. More intentionally. More connected to the land and to each other.

And that’s where you come in.

Do you want to learn how to garden, compost (worms and tractor chicken), harvest and arrange flowers, and live more sustainably?

Curious about working with nature through permaculture?

Then we’d love for you to join our email list. We are just getting started and we want to send you all the details as we put them together!
